Bến Ba Son ferry terminal is 400 m away and Ba Son Station, a train station, is 300 m, so the riverside is a few minutes' walk. Saigon Railway Station is 3 km away and Tan Son Nhat International Airport 5.2 km, both reachable by taxi or car. For a car, the nearest option is public parking at a nearby location, which costs VND 150,000 per day.

On foot, the Zoo and Botanical Garden Ho Chi Minh is 600 m away and the Vietnam History Museum 650 m, so a morning can cover both. Further afield, the War Remnants Museum is 1.5 km away, the Saigon River Tunnel 1.4 km and Nha Rong Wharf 1.6 km; the wharf is the riverside spot from which Ho Chi Minh sailed in 1911. Tao Dan Park, 1.7 km away, makes a quieter stop for an unhurried stroll.
